Aggravated assault was reported at JC Penney, 2000 N. Neil St., around 10 a.m., Monday. According to the report, an employee believed several subjects were initiating a retail theft. When the employee confronted the subjects, one of them took the employees glasses and made threats the cut the employee. The subject then returned the glasses and left.

Burglary was reported on the 300 block of East Green Street, around 4 p.m., Wednesday. According to the report, the victim’s speaker was missing after leaving his or her apartment unlocked for Spring Break.

Theft was reported on the 700 block of West Green Street, around 4 p.m., Saturday. According to the report, the victim’s home is used as an Air BnB. The victim reported having his or her watch stolen.

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charges of theft on the 1800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, around 10 a.m., Wednesday. According to the report, the offender and victim are in a romantic relationship and had a dispute after the offender sold items that belonged to the victim. The items were valued at over $500.
