Area on Third Street to be closed to traffic Friday

The city of Champaign has announced a section of Third Street will be closed to traffic on Friday. The closed area includes Third Street between Springfield Avenue and Healey Street, lasting from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
The closure is reportedly due to a crane placement, as well as material delivery for construction projects in the area.
