Champaign 

An arrest was made on the charges of violation of an order of protection and obstructing identification in the 1300 block of Williamsburg Drive around 1 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the suspect violated an order of protection against him by being a passenger in a car that stopped in front of the protected party’s house.

Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported in the area of Brookwood Drive and Sunset Drive around 2 a.m. Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender or offenders discharged at least several nine millimeter rounds in the area.

Disorderly conduct was reported in the 2000 block of South Neil Street around 5 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, the victim and her family were threatened by the offender during a child custody exchange. 

University

An arrest was made on the charges of criminal defacement of property in the intersection of Stadium Drive and Neil Street around 4 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the suspect was discovered by a witness painting graffiti under a viaduct. 

Urbana

Fraud and deceptive practices was reported in the 1000 block of Anderson Street around 9 a.m. Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender submitted a fraudulent bank draft document to the victim’s bank and was then able to withdraw money from the victim’s account.

Domestic battery was reported in the 1300 block of Silver Street around 4 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender and victim, who are sisters, engaged in a verbal argument that led to a physical altercation in the apartment parking lot. The victim had left the scene by the time officers arrived. 

An arrest was made on the charge of assault in the 1300 block of North Lincoln Avenue around 12 a.m. Monday. According to the report, police initially responded to a verbal argument between the victim and suspect, who are in a dating relationship. After clearing the apartment, an officer saw the suspect chase the victim out of the apartment, the victim fall to the ground and the suspect bring his foot back as if preparing to kick the victim.
