The Starbucks located in the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., is closed again due to an equipment problem.

Jim Trail, the operations manager, posted a statement on the UIUC Subreddit Monday morning to address the issue.

In the statement, he wrote that the equipment problem is getting fixed as quickly as possible so that the Starbucks can open soon.

“I’ll post more updates as we know more,” Trail wrote at the end of his statement.

Lori Holmes, Senior Associate Director for Retail said the issue came from a pipe above the ceiling and until that is fixed, the Starbucks will remain closed.
