Champaign

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 600 block of Dogwood Drive around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, a paver was thrown through a window by an unknown offender, shattering the glass.

Residential burglary was reported on the 500 block of Stoughton Street around 7 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the offender took two electronic gaming systems and two electronic game accounts.

Fleeing or attempting to avoid police was reported at the intersection of Mattis Avenue and Clark Street around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the vehicle fled after almost colliding with the squad car on Mattis Avenue.

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charge of aggravated battery, obstructing justice and intimidation on the 1000 block of Kerr Avenue around 4 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the arrestee and victim were involved in a physical altercation in which the victim was lacerated with knives by the arrestee. The arrestee gave officers multiple false identities and made threats to kill the officers. The arrestee had a warrant out for their arrest.
