Theft was reported near Goodwin Avenue and St. Mary’s Road, Urbana around 6 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, two University students left their skateboards unattended near the roadway while they were off taking photographs in the area. The two skateboards had an estimated value of $179.

Urbana

Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported on the 1700 block of Melrose Village Circle around 6 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender fired a handgun near a basketball courtyard in an apartment complex while there were multiple people around. 

Battery and theft under $500 were reported on the 1000 block of Kerr Avenue around 9:10 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the victim and the offender are acquaintances who arranged an exchange of sex for money. The offender battered the victim by punching the victim in the head. The offender then disarmed the victim and struck the victim in the head with a firearm.
