Champaign

Theft was reported on the 700 block of South Third Street around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the suspect took the victim’s motorcycle for a test ride before purchasing it and has not returned the motorcycle at the time of this report. There is limited suspect information.

Criminal defacement of property were reported on the 500 block of East Healey Street around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the property manager located graffiti on the side of one of his buildings.

Two arrests were made on charges of retail theft that were reported at Walmart Supercenter, 2610 N. Prospect Ave., around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, two 19-year-old shoplifters were issued a Champaign notice to appear in court for retail theft and released.

Urbana

Residential burglary and criminal damage to property was reported on the 600 block of Eliot Drive around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, an unknown offender broke into the victim’s residence by forcing entry through the back door. The offender stole a key to victim’s vehicle, which was not at the residence at the time. No other items were found to be missing and the offender was not located.

Domestic dispute and criminal sexual assault were reported on the 1000 block of Harding Drive around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, the victim alleged the offender sexually assaulted her.

Assist of the sick and injured was reported on the 800 block of Green Street around 4:30 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, the victim was found in a business bathroom in need of medical attention and transported to the hospital.
