Champaign

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 200 block of East John Street around 3 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, a resident of an apartment returned to his vehicle after having another vehicle towed and found his car had been damaged.

Burglary was reported on the 2000 block of Cynthia Drive around 7 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, the victim said an unknown male entered her house and took an Xbox controller and cash.

Theft was reported on the 400 block of North Edwin Street around 2 p.m. Monday. According to the report, four unknown offenders entered the victim’s property and stole Halloween decorations.

University

Nothing to report.

Urbana

Robbery was reported on the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender punched the victim several times and stole his cell phone. The offender fled prior to police arrival.

Burglary was reported on the 1200 block of Montgomery Street around 10 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle, took a bag containing credit cards and other personal items.

An arrest was made on the charge of burglary on the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue around 4 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the suspect attempted to enter the victim’s vehicle to steal property.
