Champaign

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the 600 block of South Sixth Street around 2:31 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the victim left his vehicle unlocked with keys in the ignition while he left to deliver food. When he returned his vehicle was missing. 

Theft $500 and under was reported on the 900 block of Bloomington Road around 9:10 a.m. on Saturday. According to the report, an employee at McDonald’s money was stolen from her wallet by another employee. 

University 

A report was made by an employee of Rosati’s pizza that a customer battered an employee at 701 South Gregory St. on Friday. According to the report, a customer threw a pizza at an employee after receiving an inaccurate order. The customer fled the scene before the police arrived.

Urbana

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 800 block of Division Avenue around 1:18 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the unknown offender damaged the victim’s vehicle which was unoccupied at the time.

An arrest was made on the charge of retail theft on the 100 block of South High Cross Road around 12:48 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the offender passed all points of check out without paying for her items at Walmart when she was stopped.
