Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported on the 2300 block of West Springfield Avenue around 1:54 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, shots were fired and used shell casings were located. There were reportedly no victims. 

Residential burglary was reported on the 100 block of East Daniel Street around 9:22 p.m. on Friday. According to the report, the female victim claimed her coin collection was stolen from her unlocked apartment when she was not present. 

University

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charge of retail theft on the 100 block of South High Cross Road around 7 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the arrestee stole items from Walmart and was later released with a city notice to appear. 

Theft over $500 was reported on the 2000 block of Anderson Street around 5:24 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the unknown offender stole the victim’s bicycle from the location. The bicycle’s value is estimated at over $500.
