Champaign

Burglary and criminal damage to property were reported on the 1200 block of North Market Street around 2:06 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the offender broke a glass window with a garbage can at Family Dollar. The offender appeared to have entered through the broken window and fled out the back door. 

Burglary was reported on the 800 block of Bloomington Road around 11:23 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the business at the location was burglarized by the unknown offender.

University 

Nothing to report. 

Urbana 

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 800 block of Oakland Avenue around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the unknown offender threw a firework or similar explosive device into the common area of an apartment complex causing a window to break.  There was no one in the space at the time of the incident. 

Residential burglary was reported on the 800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue around 10:46 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the unknown offender entered the victim’s residence and removed items without permission.
