Champaign

Criminal damage to property was reported at Days Inn on the 900 block of Bloomington Road around 9:30 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the offender shattered a window during an argument. The offender was released with a notice to appear.

Theft over $500 was reported on the 1300 block of South State Street around 4 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a bicycle belonging to the victim. 

University

Criminal damage to property was reported at Van Doren Hall, 1215 S. Fourth St., Champaign, around 2 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, a University student reported that someone broke several wall tiles and a soap dispenser in a bathroom. The student claimed to have heard a verbal argument in the bathroom followed by a loud noise.
