Champaign

Criminal damage to property was reported in the 900 block of Devonshire Drive around 1 a.m. on Monday. According to the report, a suspect poured a white granular substance which looked like sugar into a gas tank of the victim’s vehicle.

Theft over $500 was reported in the 2000 block of North Prospect Avenue around noon last Thursday. According to the report, the offender was an employee and was in the manager’s office for a training video. The offender removed a deposit bag from an unlocked safe and stole $545.

University

Urbana

Aggravated battery was reported in the 200 block of North Broadway Avenue around 7 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the incident occurred at a public bus stop where the offender punched the female victim twice. The offender then pulled out a knife and threatened to harm all three victims.
