An arrest was made on the charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and driving with a revoked license near Lincoln and Delaware avenues around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the suspect’s vehicle was initially stopped when officers recognized the suspect from an unrelated incident earlier that day. Upon searching the vehicle, police discovered cocaine and a large amount of methamphetamines. 

Theft $500 and under, and destruction of property was reported at the Pollinatarium, 606 W. Windsor Road, Urbana. According to the report, a $500 picnic bench was stolen and a $600 picnic table was destroyed sometime between Sunday and Monday. Additionally, a door to a storage shed had been removed and the contents of the shed were left near the road.

Battery and disorderly conduct was reported on the 1500 block of North Lincoln Avenue around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the offender alarmed and disturbed customers at a gas station and proceeded to throw items inside the store, striking one of the victims. The offender left before police arrived.
