Champaign

Robbery was reported on West Washington and North Neil streets around midnight on Wednesday. According to the report, a subject was reportedly robbed at knifepoint.

University

An arrest was made on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a firearm around 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the University Public Safety Building on West Springfield Avenue. According to the report, police received information that the suspect was storing methamphetamine and a firearm in his vehicle while it was parked at Snyder Hall. The vehicle was towed to the Public Safety Building and after obtaining a search warrant, officers found those items in the vehicle.

Urbana

Forgery was reported in the 200 block of North Vine Street around 1 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, offenders attempted to use counterfeit currency to purchase items at an Urbana business. The employees discovered the currency was fake, and the offenders fled the scene.
