Theft over $500 was reported in the 00 block of an unknown street around 8 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, a female had her purse stolen by her drug dealer while trying to make a transaction with him.

University

Damage to property was reported at a University parking lot around 2 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, a person reported that someone had written in permanent marker on the hood of her vehicle. The estimated cost to repair the damage is $50.

Urbana

Battery was reported in the 1900 block of Prairie Woods Drive around noon on Monday. According to the report, the victim is a resident at an assisted living facility and the offender is nursing staff at the facility. The victim alleges that the offender punched her arm multiple times during an altercation.
