An arrest was made on the charge of resisting a police officer on the 200 block of North Lincoln Avenue, Urbana around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the suspect fled when officers approached him while investigating a report of an armed person.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 800 block of Kerr Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender slashed the rear passenger tire of the victim’s vehicle.
