Difficult for non-majors to take classes

Everything Lynne said in her article April 15th was on point. However, the fact remains that it’s extremely hard for non-business students to take finance classes. Spots are very limited and a non-business student would have to petition very hard to get in.

In addition, there are usually pre-reqs in place (FIN 221) and the only really relevant (and requiring no pre-reqs) class I can think of is FIN 232. However I think Lynne made a great point. Perhaps the university should work to make that class a requirement for the entire University.
