Theft $500 and under was reported on the 1800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue around 1:12 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the unknown offender stole the victim’s package from the front of her apartment door.
An arrest was made on the charge of retail theft on the 100 block of South High Cross Road around 11:44 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the arrestee passed all payment checkpoints at a Walmart without paying for any of the several items. The arrestee was then issued a notice to appear in court and a trespass notice.
