Theft over $500 was reported on the 2000 block of South Orchard Street overnight Monday or Tuesday. According to the report, a catalytic converter was stolen from a student’s car. The estimated replacement cost for the stolen part is $2,000.

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charge of criminal damage to property on the 600 block of West Park Street around 11:23 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the intoxicated arrestee damaged a bathroom wall at Carle Foundation Hospital. 

Theft $500 and under was reported on the 1900 block of Prairie Winds Drive around 6:31 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s wallet.
