University

Theft was reported at the Agronomy Seed Farm at 2102 S. Wright St. on Tuesday. According to the report, a University employee reported that three catalytic converters were stolen from University vehicles between Saturday and Monday. The estimated cost to repair all three vehicles is $4,500. 

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charges of residential trespassing and unlawful possession of a weapon in the 900 block of Linview Avenue around 6 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the suspect sent threats via text message to the victim, one showing the suspect holding and pointing a rifle to the camera. The suspect showed up to the victim’s residence without permission, broke a window and was found by police with his arms hanging in the residence.
