Champaign

Aggravated assault and aggravated battery was reported on the 1100 block of North Sixth Street around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, both involved parties claimed that they were battered by the other. 

University

Property damage was reported at University parking lot C-9 at 505 E. Chalmers St., Champaign between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, a University employee found scratches and oily liquid on the rear bumper of her vehicle. 

Urbana

Arrests were made on the charges of manufacture of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and parole violation on the 1500 block of Lincolnshire Drive around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, police were helping the Department of Corrections conduct a safety compliance check at the suspects’ residence when they discovered cocaine, methamphetamines, $1,202 in cash and pistol ammunition. Both suspects were on parole and subsequently arrested.
