Reckless discharge of a firearm and criminal damage to property was reported in the 1800 block of Melanie Lane around 1 a.m. on Sunday. According to the report, officers arrived at the scene after reports of shots fired, discovering evidence of gunfire resulting in property damage. No arrests have been made.

Urbana

Theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the 1700 block of Philo Road around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the offender is a past employee of a local car rental business and took a vehicle from the business after her termination.
