Aggravated assault and aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Interstate 74 around 7 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, victims were shot while driving in their vehicle by the offender in another vehicle.

University

Retail theft was reported at the Illini Union Bookstore around 4 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, someone had stolen three notebooks with a total value of $40.93. The offender left the store before she could be stopped by security.

Urbana

Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported in the 2100 block of Country Squire Drive around noon on Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender discharged a firearm into an unoccupied residence. The offender fled the scene before police arrived, and no one was injured.
