Theft was reported at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., Urbana around 3 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, a University employee reported that two billiard balls were stolen from the Illini Union Rec Room. The stolen billiard balls have an estimated total value of around $20.

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charges of possession of a controlled substance and operating an uninsured vehicle around 2 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the suspect’s vehicle was initially stopped by police after it was seen committing several moving violations. Police discovered that the suspect was the subject of multiple arrest warrants. Believing that the suspect was acting suspiciously, a police K-9 unit conducted an open air sniff test. Police searched the vehicle and found a bag of controlled substances under the suspect’s feet.
