Criminal damage to federal property was reported at the Coordinated Science Laboratory, 1308 W. Main St., Urbana, around 9 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, a University employee reported that an unknown offender had painted graffiti on an outside wall of the building between March 2 and March 7.

An arrest was made on the charges of disorderly conduct in the 600 block of West University Avenue around 2 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the suspect caused the victim to be alarmed and disturbed by loitering in the victim’s backyard. The victim chased the suspect from the backyard to a local hospital with a knife. The victim and suspect were detained by hospital security.
