Adrienne Godbold

The guard out of Chicago was last year’s top-ranked senior in Illinois, according to ESPN Hoopgurlz. Nicknamed “NuNu,” she helped Marshall win the state title in 2008. Coach Jolette Law said that based on her performances in practice, “You can tell she’s been a part of a state championship team.”

Brianna Jones

The forward with the nickname “Krunch” and a reputation for a good sense of humor has been playing well on the inside during practice. According to Law, she has been “challenging Jenna Smith day in and day out.”

Kersten Magrum

The forward from Mokena, Ill., coached youth basketball while in high school. Some of her experiences must have carried over to college, as Law said, “She’s embodies what it means to be a team player.”

Amber Moore

After helping lead her high school team to two state championships, Coach Law believes the guard from Detroit will give her squad an edge on offense. According to Law, Moore “has been the most consistent shooter along with Macie Blinn, and that’s what much needed from our team last year.”

Karisma Penn

At this point in the season Law has liked what she’s seen from ESPN Hoopgurlz’s No. 2 forward in the nation. “She’s come along,” Law said. “She’s probably one of the ones that has surprised me the most.”

Destiny Williams

The forward from Michigan is Illinois’ first ever McDonald’s All-American. But even as the most highly touted member, Law said the gold medalist from the 2009 U19 National Team has “been probably the most humble of the group.”
