Sophomore center fielder Willie Argo was named Co-Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday. Argo went 7-for-11 over the last three games of the Illini’s spring break trip, highlighted by a 4-for-4 day at the plate against Southeastern on Tuesday.
The award was the second Big Ten Player of the Week honor of Argo’s career.

Tuesday’s road contest against Illinois State at Duffy Bass Field has been rescheduled to 4:30 p.m. The game was originally slated to begin at 6 p.m.
