Kevin Hambly, head coach of the Illinois volleyball team, announced the signing of four players to the Class of 2011.

The Illini signed Liz McMahon, middle blocker and right side hitter from Liberty Township, OH, who is the highest ranked Illinois recruit ever at No. 3.

Other signings included Jocelynn Birks, outside hitter from Willow Springs, IL, ranked No. 26; Morganne Criswell, outside hitter from Decatur, IL, ranked No. 33; and Ali Stark, right side hitter from Mount Vernon, IA, ranked No. 53.

“They bring great credentials, maybe as great as any we have signed, and will continue to help elevate our level of play,” Hambly said in a press release.
