Brendan McGovern, Assistant Copy Chief
I am a sophomore studying English and political science. I began at The Daily Illini as a copy editor my freshman year, and since then, I have worked as a slotter and web manager. I am from Mount Prospect, Illinois, which is a suburb 30 minutes west of downtown Chicago. Currently, I assist the Copy Chief with editing weekly content and scheduling. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading and drinking coffee.
