Gwyn Skiles, Managing Editor for Reporting

Hello! My name is Gwyn Skiles and I'm a sophomore majoring in Journalism with specializations in Statistics and Economics. This is my second year with The Daily Illini, and I am honored to be able to work for such a remarkable student news outlet. I began working for the DI as a features staff writer, and later became Night Editor and Features Editor. Now, I am the Managing Editor for Reporting. Other than writing for The Daily Illini, I work closely with Professor Chris Evans as a student journalist for Illinois Public Media. In my free time I like to write creatively and watch documentaries. Please email me with any questions —
