In this election, citizens have a more pluralistic ballot than ever before. Student Walter Pituc and alumnus Tony Pomonis are running for the two seats that are open for Champaing County Board District 7. If you’re registered to vote in the area of campus that falls within this district you have the opportunity to send these two fine candidates to infuse the Board with the necessary energy and creativity that it needs so urgently. And in the other side of town two more candidates can shake things up: Joe Futrelle in District 8 & Michael Lehman in District 9. Joe is current staff member while Michael is a graduate student at our fine institution. In Champaign County, change is more than just echo – it is an achievable goal on the county government level.
