Briefcase/Bag
It is important always to be prepared. “You should carry a bag with you so you can keep papers and pen in it in case you need them to take notes, and it’s important to be ready for whatever they might have to throw at you,” said Savannah Insalaco, sophomore in LAS.

Paperwork
Damian Lay, assistant director at the University’s Career Center, said you should carry at least one copy of your resume. “Also if it is a job in the advertising or marketing sector, then it’s a good idea to carry samples of your past work in a portfolio or a folder,” Lay said. Business cards are a good idea as well, he added.

An outfit cannot be complete without good shoes. “It is important to present yourself well, and if your outfit is good but the shoes are dirty, then your entire presentation of yourself looks bad whatsoever,” said Divey Gulati, senior in Engineering.

Personal Hygiene
