The No. 13 Illinois Fighting Illini fell to the No. 4 Tennessee Volunteers, 4-0, in the ITA National Indoor Championships in Charlottesville, Va.
The Volunteers got off to a quick start in doubles play, winning the point and then going on to sweep singles play with three wins.
Illinois will compete against Kentucky on Saturday in the consolation round of the tournament.
