United in Campaign Against Budget Cuts (UIC-ABC) has organized an exchange between administration and the coalition made up of students, faculty and staff to discuss ways to save the university from a budget crisis.

According to a press release, the exchange is scheduled for Mar. 4 at noon.

The press release stated that an open letter was sent to administration to invite them to the exchange and propose alternatives to the current measures implemented due to the budget crisis. The letter was sent to President Ikenberry, UIC Chancellor Paula Allen-Meares, UIC Provost Michael Tanner, UIC LAS Dean Dwight McBride and UIC Vice Provost Frank Goldberg.

According to the release, UIC-ABC is now focusing its attention on the UIC administration after they rallied and organized petitions in Springfield for the money that UIC should have gotten.
