Investment package to create new jobs

Governor Pat Quinn announced on August 27, 2010 that the state is providing a business investment package to Stericycle, Inc. The investment package will result in 25 new jobs being created and 360 jobs being retained.

The investment package is helping the medical waste service company to relocate its call center operations to a larger facility.

“This investment is contributing to a stronger local economy by creating and retaining hundreds of jobs in the Chicago area, and more opportunities for the company to grow in the future,” said Governor Quinn in a press release. “By investing in companies like Stericycle that are investing in Illinois, we are helping to get our economy back on track and putting more people to work.”
