    *Urbana*

    * Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported at the 500 block of West University Avenue on Thursday.

    According to the report, an unknown offender stole a cell phone from the victim’s vehicle.

    * Aggravated battery was reported at the 600 block of West University Avenue on Thursday.

    According to the report, the offender is an adult resident of a mental health facility and the victim is a mental health caseworker. The victim was accompanying the offender to the hospital for treatment. The offender tried to flee the hospital and punched the victim in the face. No arrests were made and the offender was released back to the mental health custodian’s care.

    * A 35-year-old Urbana male was arrested on an in-state warrant at the 600 block of Cunnigham Avenue on Thursday.

    According to the report, the subject had a valid Champaign county warrant for failure to appear on a theft cast. He was taken into custody and transported to the Champaign County Jail.

    * An armed robbery was reported at the 1300 block of Tremont Street on Thursday.

    According to the report, the victim was a restaurant delivery driver. One offender approached the victim carrying a baseball bat and wearing a ski mask. Three other offenders surrounded the victim’s car. The victim fled before he could be robbed, and the offenders were not located.

    * A 25-year-old Urbana male was issued a notice to appear for possession of cannabis at the 2000 block of South Philo Road on Thursday.

    * Criminal damage to property was reported at the 1800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue on Friday.

    According to the report, three unknown offenders shot out the victim’s window with a BB gun and fled.

    * Residential burglary was reported at the 800 block of West Illinois Street on Friday.

    According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s unlocked apartment and took cash out of the victim’s wallet.

    *University*

    * A 29-year-old Urbana male was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Monday for disorderly conduct at the Graduate Library, 1408 W. Gregory Ave., Urbana.

    According to the report, the offender was arrested following a complaint that he touched himself inappropriately while in the video and media area of the library.

    * Theft was reported at the Activities and Recreation Center, 201 E. Peabody Drive, Champaign, at 11:45 a.m. Sunday.

    According to the report, a cell phone valued at $250 was reported stolen from an unsecured locker at the location.

    * A 24-year-old Urbana male was arrested at 7 p.m. July 11 on charges of possessing crack cocaine with intent to deliver following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of South Anderson Street, Urbana.

    According to the report, following the discovery of the drug in his vehicle, Hughes reportedly consented to a search of his home, where officers found more crack cocaine.
