Illini fans showed class at Hoosiers game

As a graduate of Indiana, I attended the IU—U of I game this past Saturday. I was impressed with the enthusiasm and good sportsmanship of the Illini students who attended the game. The IU band always plays after the game, and supporters from the “away” team never stay to watch them. About 20 or 30 Illinois students waited to hear the band and stood up the whole time cheering for the IU band, even shouting “Marching Hundred, Marching Hundred.” I do not know if these were members of the Illinois band or not, but it was really nice to see this. With IU losing, this really made my day.
