Pancake dinner to raise money for Relay for Life

Colleges Against Cancer will hold their annual Pancake Dinner to bring teams together and raise money for Relay for Life.

The dinner will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Wesley Foundation.

At $5 per person, attendees can eat an unlimited number of pancakes. All proceeds go toward the participant’s Relay for Life team.

According to Alma Juarez, Vice President of CAC, over 1,000 students have attended this fundraiser in past years. She said they are aiming for a similar number this year.

Relay for Life is an international fundraiser held by the American Cancer Society. The CAC chapter at the University holds its own relay every spring.

Teams looking to sign up for Relay for Life are encouraged to do so at the dinner.
