– An arrest was made for driving with a revoked drivers license on
Sunday just after 6 p.m. in the 400 block of University Avenue.
According to the report, the suspicious vehicle was stopped and the
driver’s vehicle came back to a registered owner whose license was

suspended. The offender was found to be driving with a revoked
driver’s license.
– A reckless discharge of a firearm was reported on Sunday just after 5 p.m. in the 1900 block of Lincoln Avenue. According to the report, an unknown offender fired several shots and it is still unknown whether there were any victims.

– A 19-year-old Urbana resident was arrested for criminal trespass and for an outstanding Champaign County warrant on Sunday just after 3 a.m. in the 900 block of South Sixth Street, Champaign. According to the report, he was a passenger in a vehicle parked in a U. of I. parking lot.
– A U. of I. student was arrested for driving under the influence of
alcohol and for operating an uninsured vehicle on Saturday just after 2 a.m. in the 300 block of Gregory Drive, Champaign. According to the report, the vehicle initially was stopped for not properly stopping at a red light.
– A 19-year-old Champaign resident was arrested on Saturday just after 11 p.m. for resisting/obstructing a police officer after officers were called to break up a fight in progress near the Independent Media Center, 202 S. Broadway Avenue, Urbana. According to the report, police were told about 30 people were fighting in the area and the suspect allegedly ran from police after officers attempted to question him.
– Officials of Glenbard North High School, Carol Stream, Illinois,
reported on Saturday just after 11 p.m. that two buses had been
damaged while parked in U. of I. parking lot E-14, 1625 S. First
Street. According to the report, the bus doors were pried open and
several electronics items were stolen from students’ bags. The
estimated damage to the buses, in town for the IHSA state wrestling
tournament, was about $1,000 and the estimated value of the items
stolen was about $300.
– A woman reported on Friday just after 2 a.m. that someone had stolen a purse from her locked vehicle which was parked in the U. of I. parking lot C-3, 603 E. John Street. According to the report, the estimated value of cash and items in the purse was $600.
