The University announced in a press release Wednesday that Cokie Roberts, political commentator for ABC News, will be delivering this year’s commencement address.
She will be speaking at both campus wide ceremonies at Assembly Hall on May 13. The first commencement ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m., while the second ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m.
In addition to ABC News, Roberts is currently a senior news analyst for National Public Radio and is also cited as one of the 50 greatest women in broadcasting history.
