Seth Meyers, head writer of “Saturday Night Live”, will be coming to campus on Oct. 23. He will be performing standup at Assembly Hall and the event will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. on Sept. 19 and will be available for purchase through the Assembly Hall Illinois Ticket office, online at the Assembly Hall “website”:http://www.uofiassemblyhall.com/ or by phone at 866-ILLINI-1. Admission will cost $28 for University students and range from $30 to $42 for the public.

Meyers joined the “Saturday Night Live” cast in 2001 and in addition to his role as head writer, he also serves as the anchor for the “Weekend Update” sketch.
