    Champaign

    — Residential burglary was reported in the 700 block of West Green Street at around 5 p.m. Sept. 26.

    According to the report, currency and checks were stolen from the victim’s gar age. A window was also damaged.

    — A 39-year-old male was arrested on the charge of battery at Fourth and Green Streets at around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

    — Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Springfield Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

    According to the report, a bicycle with no known serial number was stolen.

    University

    — Theft was reported at Grainger Library, 1301 W. Springfield Ave., at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, a student reported his backpack stolen which contained a laptop computer, cash and other items with an estimated value of $2,000.

    Urbana

    — Armed robbery was reported at B Spirits, 306 W. Main St., at around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

    According to the report, an unknown offender came into the store with a handgun and demanded money. The victim gave the offender money and the offender fled.

    — Residential burglary was reported in the 1700 block of Colorado Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

    According to the report, an unknown offender attempted to force entry into the victim’s apartment but was unsuccessful.

    — Burglary was reported in the 400 block of West Vermont Avenue at around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

    According to the report, an unknown offender stole a bicycle from a garage and stole property from the victim’s car.
