Champaign

—Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Bash Court around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, an unknown offender stole a handgun from the victim’s vehicle.

— A 32-year-old male was arrested on the charge of domestic battery in the 2000 block of West John Street around 1:30 a.m Wednesday.

According to the report, the suspect was arrested for domestic battery of a 27-year-old female.

— A 19-year-old male was arrested on the charges of assault, domestic dispute and reckless driving in the 1400 block of West Windsor Road around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, the suspect followed the victim to her place of employment after an argument. The victim reported that the suspect swerved his car into her lane multiple times and threatened to kill her.

University

— Theft was reported near First Street and Stadium Drive at 11 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, a student reported that someone stole his cellphone and wallet, which had been left unattended near the soccer fields. The items have a total estimated value of $600.

— Criminal damage to property was reported at Davenport Hall, 607 E. Matthews Ave., at 1 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, a man reported that someone had knocked over and damaged his motorcycle. The damage is estimated at $1000.

Urbana

— Deceptive practices and theft were reported in the 700 block of West Elm Street around 4:30 p.m Tuesday.

According to the report, the offender and victim are roommates and the offender used the victim’s information to activate a utility service and stole several items from the victim.

— Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 300 block of West Springfield Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, the offender entered the victim’s car to steal quarters.
