Champaign

— A 40-year-old male was arrested on the charges of aggravated battery and trespassing at the Illinois Terminal, 45 E. University Ave., around 12 p.m. Saturday.

According to the report, the man had a ban notice from the terminal and became physical with a security guard causing minor injuries.

University

— A 29-year-old male was arrested on the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding near Green and Fourth streets around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to the report, the vehicle was initially pulled over for speeding and improper lane usage.

— A 21-year-old male was arrested on the charges of obstruction of justice and possession of cannabis in the 100 block of West Green Street around 4 a.m. Thursday.

According to the report, the man was stopped inside a CVS Pharmacy after officers saw him acting suspiciously near a car in the parking lot. Upon speaking with officers, the man tried to discard a bag of cannabis.

Urbana

— Residential burglary in the 500 block of West High Street around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the victim left their residence unoccupied over the holiday break. When they returned the noticed that an unknown person took televisions, a speaker and an electronic gaming system.
