Champaign

— Aggravated battery was reported in the 800 block of North Elm Street around 5 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the victim was battered by the suspect, and the suspect was later arrested.

— Theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the 00 block of East Springfield Avenue around 2 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, an unknown suspect stole a utility trailer.

— A 19-year-old male was arrested on the charge of the possession of cannabis in the 0 to 100 block of East Armory Avenue around 11 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, the police found cannabis in the offender’s apartment during a March 6 investigation.

— A 19 year-old-male was arrested on the charges of driving under the influence of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia near the intersection of Nevada Street and Mathews Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the vehicle was originally stopped for not having a rear registration light.

Urbana

— Domestic battery was reported at the intersection of Prospect and Bradley avenues around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the victim and offender are in a dating relationship. During an argument, the offender battered the victim.

— A residential burglary and criminal damage to property were reported in the 600 block of West Main Street around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, an unknown offender tried to gain entry into the victim’s apartment. Entry was not gained, but the door was damaged.
