Theft was reported at Red Lion, 211 E. Green St., around 9:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim believes her phone was stolen from her pocket at the bar. The tracking software on the phone was activated, but her phone was not located.

Theft was reported at Fat Sandwich, 502 E. John St. #2, around 10 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown female stole the victim’s iPhone.

Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported on the 1400 block of North McKinley Avenue around 8 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender reportedly fired one gunshot at the victim.

Fraud was reported on the 4100 block of Crail Road around 9:30 a.m.Wednesday. According to the report, the suspect forged two checks on the victim’s business account, totaling $2,340.99.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 2400 block of North Neil Street around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the suspect kicked a door open and then left. He was identified, located and arrested.

Theft was reported from the storage compartment of a bus traveling from Chicago to Champaign around noon Saturday. According to the report, the luggage and its contents have an estimated value of $7,500.

Harassment was reported around noon Tuesday. According to the report, the University employee received an unwanted and troubling email from an unknown person.

Deceptive practices were reported at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., around 4:30 p.m. Jan. 17. According to the report, the victim arranged to meet with an unknown person who agreed to buy the student’s tablet computer for $500, which turned out to be counterfeit.

An arrest was made on charges of trespassing at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., around 8 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, police were called by a staff member who recognized the 23-year-old male and was aware that he had been issued a no-trespassing notice for all University property.

Urbana

An arrest for driving under the influence of drugs was reported on the 900 block of North Broadway Avenue around 8 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, a subject called police for a suspicious vehicle parked in an apartment complex parking lot. It was determined that the driver of the vehicle was impaired.

Deceptive practices was reported on the 500 block of East Sunny Crest Court around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the deceased victim’s children reported that their mother was a victim of an internet scam.

An assist of the sick and injured was reported at the Urbana Parking Deck, 111 W. Main St., was reported around 4 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim was found unconscious on the ground near a bus stop and was transported to the hospital.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 800 block of Urbana Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender damaged two of the victim’s screens on the south side of his home.
