On Saturday, women from Champaign County competed at Rantoul Township High School for the title of Miss Champaign County Fair Queen.

Ainsley Reiser of Champaign, incoming freshman at Illinois, was crowned queen.

She will represent the county at the fair scheduled from July 23 until July 31 at Urbana fairgrounds. More information about the fair can be found here

Reiser, a graduate of St. Thomas More high school, will visit local schools, civic groups, parades and open houses during her reign.

Next January, Reiser will compete for the title of Miss Illinois County Fair 2011.
