Illinois ousted on list of top 10 party schools
August 2, 2017
It’s been two years since the Princeton Review named the University as the top party school in the nation, and the spot isn’t getting any closer.
For the 2018 year, the University placed No. 14 on the list out of 20. Last year the school was No. 3.
The Princeton Review published their rankings in their book “The Best 382 Colleges,” which is an annual guide to picking colleges and preparing for higher education.
The data was gathered this year by surveying 137,000 students at the 382 schools mentioned.
The top 20 party schools had surveys that “indicated a combination of low personal daily study hours (outside of class), high usages of alcohol and drugs on campus and high popularity on campus for frats/sororities,” according to the Princeton Review’s ranking methodology.
