A University student has died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash at 1956 County Road 1000 North near Philo, Ill.
Mark Fontecchio, 23, died at 6:40 a.m. Monday at the scene of the crash, according to a press release by Champaign County Coroner Duane E. Northrup. Fontecchio is originally from Woodstock, Ill.
His death is being investigated by the coroner’s office and the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.
